The short blade has good weight and is great for cutting wild ginger and other bushes where there is limited room. The blade steel holds an edge well.

Bought this for backpack hunting trips, so was expecting lightweight but still surprised by how it feels like nothing to hold and carry.

Glad I chose this over the Pocketboy as you're getting quite a bit more cutting stroke for minimal extra weight penalty. As for performance its been solid so far. Finally clicked as to why you'd name your brand "Silky"! Buttery smooth action as long as you remember it only cuts the pull stroke. Zips through green and dry wood faster than some of my dedicated non-folding pruning saws. Satisfied buyer.
