Stoney Creek | Accelerant Jacket Review

Now this jacket is one of my favorite Stoney Creek items ever!

Since Spring 2023 I have taken the Stoney Creek Accelerant Jacket on every hunting and fishing trip I have been on. It is a main stay in my day bag and is a must on my boat. 

This jacket is super light, very warm and blows all my previous other brand jackets I've owned out of the water. It packs down super small and lives in my day bag while hunting to be retrieved when I cool down or back at camp in the evenings.

It is very tidy looking so it comes with me to the rugby on Saturday mornings and it also has been known to come on building site visits also. So many applications for this Jacket and did I mention it is super warm!   

It's Weight is Only 436grams!!

During the 2024 Sika roar I found myself throwing on the Stoney Creek Accelerant Jacket when I stopped to roar a stag and at the times I parked up for lunch etc. It was the first thing I got out of my day bag and put on when I stopped for any period.

Here you can see me wearing the Stoney Creek Accelerant Jacket after I shot a nice Sika stag. I was a bit damp from wet bush and while I took a few photos of the stag I started to cool down so I threw on the Stoney Creek Accelerant Jacket and I was warm instantly.

It is an outstanding bit of kit and with it compacting easily down into a dry bag to be stored in my day bag. Having it in my day bag gives me a sense of security that if I were to get stuck out or hurt I don't have just some old jersey to throw on, I have the super warm Stoney Creek Accelerant Jacket to help be through.
