Tatonka | Lastenkraxe Load Carrier

Simply put, anything Tatonkna is an absolute beast

......hard wearing, well thought out and a pleasure to carry due to the well made comfortable harness. I have a good range of Tatonka packs and they have never let me down.

  • We carried our hunting gear inside the 80L load carrier bag 1.5 hours into the Ahimanawas. Once we were at the planned camping spot we cleared an area for the flys and we emptied our gear out and tolled up to find some dry wood for the nights fire, it was due to be -3 over night! After a lengthy search we found some dead standing Manuka. We then we cut it into bag size bits and loaded it into the spacious 80L carrier bag and strapped it into the Lastenkraxe load carrier frame with the V2 harness system.
  • Once on our back it felt very comfortable. It did not wobble around like I thought it possibly could and short 15 min walk back to camp had us dumping the first load and onto the next.
  • The Lastenkraxe's 24mm aluminum tubing makes it seriously strong, yet super light at the same time. I am looking forward to strapping a Sika on here for a ride back camp very soon!
